Moving to Doodali

Moving from monday.com to Doodali

monday.com exports any board to Excel. A client or CRM board imports straight into Doodali; project boards are set up again.

Updated 30 September 2026

1. Export from monday.com

  1. Open the board with your clients or contacts.
  2. Open the board menu (the three dots at the top right) → More actions → Export board to Excel.
  3. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets and save it as CSV.

2. Import into Doodali

  1. In Doodali, open the business you’re bringing across, then go to Settings → Import and export and press Import clients from a CSV (or press Import on the Clients page).
  2. Choose the file. Doodali reads the column headings and matches them for you: company name, email, phone, address, VAT number, notes, and the contact’s name, email, phone and job title.
  3. Check the matches. Anything Doodali couldn’t match is set to “Skip”: choose a field for it, or leave it out.
  4. Press Import. Each row becomes a client with its main contact. More people at a company that’s already there are added as its contacts, and clients already in Doodali are skipped, so you can import again safely.

Tips for monday.com

  • Delete any group heading rows above the column names before importing, so the first row is the headings.

What stays behind

  • Project boards: recreate each board in Doodali’s Projects with its own columns, then add your live projects. Finished work can stay where it is.
